New Ulm Bed and Breakfast - winner 2008 - 2009

"Why Visiting New Ulm is Fun and Interesting"

We often smile as we hear from visitors how surprised they are at what a unique and attractive town we are, but they also marvel at how much there is to do.  Click here to view a video on New Ulm.

Families will like Flandrau State Park on New Ulm's west side with their hiking paths (birding, too!) and outdoor pool, but may also enjoy two city parks with swimming pools and the new bike path. A BMX track, skate park and frisbee golf course offer entertainment for the somewhat older kids. A paint-ball park is outside of New Ulm and there is an indoor swimming pool and walking track at the Recreation Center.

Fishing or boating is available on the Minnesota River that flows right through town and winter brings ice-fishing, sledding and skating in both outdoor and indoor ice rinks.

New Ulm is famous for baseball at Johnson Park, but football, soccer, volleyball, and other sports, take place at the many city parks. Enjoy yourself year-round in New Ulm as a spectator or participant!

Gewurztraminer is a unique Germananic style favorite and Morgan Creek's signature wine! Gewurz means spice in German. Taste exotic fruit flavors with a peppery character, a great wine to sip or serve with pork, barbecue or Asian cuisine.  Served hot from the European outdoor oven is Morgan Creek's famous ""schnitzle brot"" made with locally produced beer sausage and cheeses.
